A leading Investment Bank requires a Desk Developer for their Interest Rate Derivatives Trading team work in the Desk Development team. The team is responsible for development of pre-trade analytics, risk and P&L tools used by the trading desks. You will work directly with the trading desks to understand their business requirements and to develop both tactical and strategic solutions.

The Job will require,

* Meeting business needs with development that is a balance of rapid functional change, quality and stability.

* A highly agile / RAD approach to business analysis, project management and software development.

* Close liaison with core IT and quant development teams.

* The ability and confidence to deliver in a trading floor environment.

Your job will offer a high level of visibility and involvement, with excellent career prospects.

You are an individual with

* Experience within the financial sector

* Knowledge of Interest Rate products (Bonds, Futures, Swaps) will be an advantage.

* Experience of Front Office desk processes (Pre-trade / Risk / PnL).

You are an individual with extensive experience in

* Professional programming in Excel & VBA

* .NET (C#, VB) & VB6

* Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle

* XML / DTDs / Schemas

* Reuters PPP / Bloomberg Addins

* OOD & OOP concepts
