General Manager (Based in Batam, Indonesia)

ORGANISATION:

Your role is to provide leadership and develop the Batam production facility into a highly efficient and effective production unit. The candidate will report to the Operations Director based in the USA.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your main responsibility is to manage the company resources, both human and materials, to carry out the objectives in terms of business strategy and economic profitability:

• Business Management: Conceive and formulate the company objectives and strategies in line with the overall group strategy (operational excellence, business and financial performance….)

• Plant Management and Organisational Optimisation: Manage and develop the production facility to achieve efficient and timely production and delivery of quality products to the regional distribution centres.

• People and Performance Management: Lead, develop, motivate and manage a team to ensure that budget and production deadlines are met.

• P&L: Manage the growth of the organisation with a constant focus on high profitability.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Strong engineering background will be desired.

• Plant or production management experience, ideally within a matrix global multi-national organisation.

• Familiarity with manufacturing best practices.

• Ability to create a culture of teamwork and people involvement.

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
