A Major Global Insurer is Looking for a Solvency II Business Analyst. The Solvency II Business Analyst must have Technical Documentation/Authoring skills and experience as this is a key part of this role. The Solvency II Business Analyst will join the a Economic Capital Management program and looking at implementing Solvency II regulatory requirements with regards to its internal capital model.
Focusing on the UK and Europe (No Travel required) a Business Analyst is required to define business processes that embed the use of our economic capital model (ECM) within Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Define and agree the management information required from the model to drive business uses.
Be Heavily Involved with all Documentation across the Programme
Shape and create technical documents
Provide input to the Solvency II team on the capabilities of the model to support uses (working with model designers and builders)
Define the output required from the model to a level of detail required to build reports.
Define input screens/user interfaces required to the model to enable users to pass parameters to it and to run the model to generate the results required
Required Experience
Experienced business analyst working in finance organisation
Advanced Documentation Skills
Experience in Technical Authoring/Writing
Strong Insurance background and experience of working within Risk or Actuarial functions
Previous experience of working with capital models.
Good verbal and written communications and strong analytical skills
Previous experience developing MI and specifying reports.
Expertise with MS Office is expected.
