A Passion For... Holiday Workshops are our exciting and pioneering new courses that will be running at 14 of our venues this year! The programmes are written by our team of experts and are designed to bring the most out of children and teenagers aged 6-16.

A Passion For...Support Staff work alongside the Course Leaders, assisting them in delivering the workshops. You could be asked to support on any of the following A Passion For ... workshops - Dance, The Stage, Food, Creativity, Invention and Cyberspace. Reporting to the Course Leader you will assist in the organising, planning and delivery of our workshops.

* Ensure you and your team adhere to processes and procedures whilst the children in your care continually have a fun, stimulating and safe time

* Utilise your all-round skills/experience to be able to assist in the delivery of a number of different workshops

* With support and guidance from your Site Manager liaise with parents regarding the needs of children and feedback on any issues which arise

* Support the Site Manager during sign in/out of children and other adhoc duties as required

* Continually show respect for your Host site by ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times

Requirements

* Ideally working towards a teaching / childcare qualification (although your application can still be considered without this)

* Experience working with children and young people

* Sufficient all-round skills/experience to be able to assist in the delivery of a number of different workshops

* Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills and good use of initiative

* Flexible, team player willing to take on various tasks as required

If selected you will be required to attend a training day covering; A Passion For...ethos, policies and procedures and structure of the day.

Pay: £235 per week for under 21 year olds and £285 per week for over 21 year olds

Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Location/duration: Temporary contracts at various sites within a region - up to 5 weeks work

On appointment all staff will be expected to complete a CRB disclosure and supply us with references
