Store Manager - Nottingham

My client, one of the fastest growing retailers in their field is looking to recruit an experienced store manager that has a passion for skiing, snowboarding and all things snow related. They have been selling clothing for snowboarders, skiers, skateboarders and surfers alike since 1983. More recently they have added hardware to their stores, such as boards, boots, skis etc and are now looking for a store manager that can also offer technical sales knowledge.

This opportunity could progress from a store manager into an area manager role for the right candidate.

As the store manager you will be expected to deliver the following;

* Manage and motivate your team to maximise sales figures and customer service.

* Setting and monitoring individual sales targets.

* Recruitment, training, and performance management of your team.

* Continually looking at ways to re-merchandise, marketing and promotion of your store.

* Build specialist product knowledge to assist in converting sales.

* Hold daily/weekly sales meetings, conduct performance reviews.

* Ensure customer service and health & safety standards are adhered too.

* Undertake regular communication meetings to update your team on; store performance, new initiatives and incentives and all head office news.

* Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly timesheets, attendance and cash records.

* A solid understanding of managing budgets and KPI's.
