Senior Manager / Director (Pricing & Underwriting) - Personal Lines Insurance - New UK venture with an established corporate
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Director or Market Planning Strategist with a Personal Lines Insurance background (ideally Automotive / Motor Insurance and/or Home) and Underwriting / Pricing experience to join my global enterprise data services solutions client based in Central London. As the UK Personal Lines Insurance Pricing & Underwriting Specialist you will use your experience within a leading Motor & Home Insurer to work closely with customers to understand their need, focus on delivering that need while also having an entrepreneurial and commercial head to seek and close new opportunities.
Working as a Senior Manager / Director / Strategist within Personal Lines Insurance, Pricing & Underwriting experience for my client is a fantastic opportunity as they develop and deliver some of the best suites of products within the industry and are now embarking on a new product venture. They are investing heavily at the moment so can offer a varied and challenging working environment as well as career opportunities within this growing department.
Skills required for the role of Senior Manager / Director (Pricing & Underwriting) - Personal Lines Insurance are:
* A strong background in the UK Personal Lines Insurance market, which probably includes a background in underwriting / pricing and ideally Automotive / Car / Motor and/or Home
* Strong strategic skills together with the knowledge to understand the data "pain points" of Insurers
* Experienced Senior professional with strong communication and relationship building skills
* Strong client facing skills and a very good commercial / entrepreneurial awareness
* Analytical skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers at an Underwriting level is essential
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategy for the division, facilitating and leading the accomplishment of market strategy through a matrix, cross functional team and directing and developing concepts for new products. You will work with and build relationships with Executive level clients and support relationships within the Home / Motor Insurance industry.

Salary: £80-110k + bonus (to 20%) + pension + health + 28 ½ days holiday
