Senior Business Analyst, Strategy & Planning of Pan-European projects - near Slough, Berkshire
This is a brand new role and a fantastic opportunity to help shape this globally recognised company's future on new European systems.
Package: to £60K basic + bonus + excellent Pension package + Medical Ins + lease car option + on-site parking + flexible working + other benefits.
You will be responsible for initiating European projects, working closely with all stakeholders, and you will need to assist the business in establishing strong business cases and defining high level requirements.
You will have primary responsibility for the relationship between IT and your business area(s) at a European level and in many cases will be the face of IT within your allocated business area.
You will be involved in understanding business strategy, working with senior business managers across one or two key areas of the company's European business and ensuring that IS activities are supporting these business goals. Consequently you must be highly credible within both the business and IS.
In this role you may be required to lead Business Analysts in order to redefine business processes and capture detailed business requirements.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
* Degree educated
* A thorough understanding of business processes, business improvements - you must be highly credible with senior business leaders.
* A successful track record in working on complex IT projects from either the business or IS side.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to quickly build strong business relationships and influence at all levels.
* A good understanding of the tools and techniques used in designing new business processes, and initiating and delivering IS solutions and business change initiatives.
* Any of the following would be a distinct advantage: Supply Chain experience, strategic planning, enterprise architecture.
* Site in good commuting distance of Slough, Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, Guildford, Reading, Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, West London, M4 corridor.
