Description:

* To ensure the timely processing of requests from Jamaican manufacturers and traders to the CARICOM Secretariat for the suspension of CARICOM's CET as well as requests for certificates under the safeguard mechanism

* Handling of issues pertaining to regional trade in goods that may affect producers and traders.

Qualifications:

* B.Sc Management Studies or equivalent.

* Prior experience with CARICOM, customs or trade procedures would be an asset.

* Excellent knowledge of CARICOM procedures and the structure of the Common External Tariff (CET)

* Good presentation, oral and written and communication skills

* Good problem solving skills

* Computer literate
